desert island albums
If I’m banished to a desert island, what 5 albums would I take with me?
Radiohead – OK Computer
I throw this album on whenever Iife gets tough. Definitely need to deal with the fact I’m not getting off this island.
Bob Marley – Legend
Once I’ve accepted that I’m stuck, might as well enjoy myself and play music that fits the island vibe. We jammin!
Nas – Illmatic
Whenever I’m homesick, I listen to Illmatic and get transported back to my native NYC.
Anderson .Paak – Malibu
Probably one of my favorite albums that’s come out in the past 10 years. By sheer luck, randomly I got to hang out one evening with Anderson in Malibu overlooking the Pacific, but that’s a story for another time.
Michael Jackson – Off the Wall
I would guess most MJ fans would pick Thriller, but this album takes me to a very happy place.
things i do, like & eat
- HashtagLunchbag is a charity organization that I’m involved with that helps feed the hungry.
- My kindle has been my favorite non-music gadget the past couple years. I read all kinds of stuff, but as a creative, I find myself coming to The War of Art by Steven Pressfield every time I undertake a new project.
- As a resident of Los Angeles, I’m on the never-ending quest of finding the best taco truck in town. I have several favorites, but I find myself going to Leo’s on La Brea the most often. All suggestions are welcome!
